Friday, June 2nd, Cedars of
Liberty, 200 West Ruth Ewing Road
The event will start at 5:30 PM and go until who knows when.
50's vintage music will be played and high school memorable will be on display.
The cost of the meal is $10 per person. The cost of beer and wine will be
"picked up" by certain class members. Sharon and Nancy will start "setting-up"
around 1:00 PM, and can use all the help they can get.
Directions: South on 291 Highway to Ruth Ewing Road. Right (West) on Ruth Ewing Road 0.7 miles to the "Cedars" sign. Right (North) into the complex and take a left at the "fork" and proceed another 0.1 mile or so.
Saturday, June 3rd, WynBrick
Healing Arts Center, 1701 WynBrick Drive
A program to remember our classmates no longer with us will
begin promptly at 6:00 PM. We would like for everyone to be "in-place" prior to
the 6:00 PM start. Following the program, which will probably last 20 minutes,
we'll have a group picture taken. We have arranged for a professional
photographer who should have prints available prior to our departing the
premises. Following the picture we'll go into the building to mingle, visit,
etc. 50's vintage music again will be played and there will be memorable on
display. Soft drinks, iced tea, beer and wine will be available, and like
Friday, the cost of the beer and wine will be "picked up." The meal will served
at 7:00 PM, and is $35 per person. According to our contract, we have to depart
the premises no later than 10:00 PM.
Directions: From I-35, East on Barry Road (152 Highway) to Conistor Street. South on Conistor Street to Liberty Drive. Left on Liberty Drive 0.1 mile to the "WynBrick" sign. Left into the complex and proceed another 0.1 mile or so.
Following our departure from WynBrick we'll be going to the Holiday Inn Express. We have their breakfast/meeting room reserved so we can continue our visiting until we get too tired, or noisy.
Directions: From WynBrick, back to Barry Road (152 Highway). West (left) over I-35 to Church Road. Left on Church Road, about 0.2 mile.
Sunday, June 4th, Fred
Isenhour's home, Nebo Hill.
The breakfast will start at 9:00 AM to provide one last
opportunity to visit before some of us have to leave town. The cost will be $5
per person.
Directions: South on 291 Highway to Old 210 Highway. Left (East) on Old 210 Highway 3.3 miles to Bluff Road. Left (North) on Bluff 0.2 mile and Fred's driveway will be on the left.
Reunion Booklet
We have 120 pages for the booklet at this moment in time.
Prior to publication I expect we'll have an additional 10 to 15 pages. The cost
for the booklet is $15, if ordered by May 1st. For those few that have not
provided their updated bio to Diane, please do it now.
Holiday Inn Express
Our special "LHS 1956 Reunion" rate of $86.95 per night, for
two queen beds, or one king bed, is good through the end of April. To get the
rate, call 816-781-555 and mention the reunion.
