2006

Liberty, MO is my hometown; my school years from Kindergarten through High School were with the Liberty Public Schools where I graduated from Liberty High School in 1956. My college years were 1963-1966 and I received an A.B. Degree graduating with honors, a husband and three children. Later in 1975, I received my Master’s Degree from NW.M.S.U, where my husband taught and was the Head Football Coach.

Most of my life has been centered on family and friends, church, working as an educator, sewing, quilting, needlecrafts, photography, travel, reading and volunteering. All of this has made for me a busy and happy life.

Our home since 1976 has been Clinton, MO; we live on five acres near Truman Lake. In the family photo you can see that we have grown from 5 to 15 which includes 7 grandchildren. Gladden and I celebrated our 50th Anniversary in 2005 and our family made it a great celebration. Our 50th anniversary trip was to Hawaii, the 50th state and our 50th state to visit. We have been blessed!  Gladden and I are looking forward to the future and also to seeing everyone in June for the 50th Class Reunion.
