Update on Tony Clark

12/17/05

For those of you who don't know, Tony died of complications December 15, 2005 at the Texas Heart Institute.  He was prepared to die if that was the outcome, but he was very hopeful that this risky procedure would work, giving him more time with family and friends.

On Sunday evening at 5 p.m. there will be a visitation at The Gabriel Funeral Chapel followed at 6 p.m. by a Vigil (a remembrance service).

On Monday there will be a funeral mass at St. Helen Catholic Church in Georgetown  at 2 p.m. with burial at the IOOF cemetery near Southwestern University. After the burial, there will be a light meal at the parish hall.

I realize that this is not the way one should learn of a death of such a precious man, but I felt that you would want to know.

The Clark family sends its thanks and love for all your prayers. Please know that we must pray for God's will instead of our own because he knows what the master plan is for all our lives.

Linda Clark

A note from Georgetown in Central Texas from Linda Major Clark.

HELP!  Tony, my husband of 47 years, has been diagnosed with a thoractic aneurysm on the arch of the aorta.  He is to have surgery at the Texas Heart Institute on December 6 or 7. In the meantime he has to not leak or blow up!

Our surgeon, Dr. Coselli,  works with Dr. Denton Cooley and is supposed to be the best at dealing with this type of operation.

Please pray for Tony's surgery to be successful and for me to stay as sane as possible.

Peace be with you all.
