Lucille Harris

LUCILLE HARRIS Lucille Harris, 85, formerly of Liberty, MO, died Monday, April
9, 2001, at the Overland Park Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be
1 p.m. Monday, April 16, at the Second Baptist Church, 309 E. Franklin St.,
Liberty; burial in White Chapel Memorial Gardens. The family will receive
friends Sunday from 7-8:30 p.m. at the Church Archer Pasley Chapel, Liberty. The
family suggests memorial contributions to the In As Much Ministry, c/o Second
Baptist Church. Mrs. Harris was born January 18, 1916, in Clay County, MO, the
daughter of Robert N. and Mary A. Britton Bush. She was a lifelong Clay County
resident. Mrs. Harris graduated from Liberty High School in 1933, and was a
member of GOG Club. She was also a member of the first 4-H Club organized in
Clay County. Mrs. Harris was a member of the Clay County Museum and Historical
Society, the Walnut Grove Extension Club, and a former member of Chandler
Baptist Church. Most recently she was a member of Second Baptist Church. She was
a former Avon representative and had worked for 19 years for Antigen
Laboratories as a lab technician, retiring in 1988. Mrs. Harris was preceded in
death by her parents and husband, Gilbert Harris, who died in 1985. She is
survived by a son, Robert Harris, Liberty; a daughter, Mary
Lou Crum, Olathe, KS; four grandchildren, Cindy Potter, Phillip Crum,
Mitch Harris, and Cody Harris; and two great-grandchildren, Mike Zamora and
