
Patricia Ann Rooney Oldham, daughter of the late Judge James S. Rooney and Francis Murphy Rooney, died at her home, Friday, September 23, 2005 on her 63rd birthday. Her funeral mass will be 10 a.m. Monday, September 26, 2005 at the Church of the Annunciation, Kearney, MO. Interment of her cremated body will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, September 28, 2005 at Fairview Cemetery, Liberty, MO. Friends may call from 6:30-8 p.m. Sunday at the Fry-Bross & Spidle Chapel, Kearney, where a rosary will be prayed at 7:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to; Missouri Right to Life, 9504 E. 63rd St., Suite 103, Kansas City, MO, 64133, or the American Cancer Society, 1100 Pennsylvania, Kansas City, MO, 64105. Pat was born September 23, 1942 in Kansas City, MO, and was reared in Liberty. She was a 1960 graduate of Saint Pius X High School, and had attended Kansas University. In 1962 she married Paul Oldham. Over the years they made their home in several cities, included, Florence, KS, Joplin and Springfield, MO, as well as Liberty, MO. They moved to Kearney in 2000. Pat was a former member of St. James Catholic Church in Liberty where she had served as organist for a number of years. She was also a former CCD classroom teacher. She was co-founder of the Birth Rights of Joplin, and a Charter Member of Missouri Citizens for Life. Pat was a member of the Church of Annunciation, Kearney. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Paul, of the home; a son, Rooney Oldham and his wife Pam, Liberty; three daughters, Mary Ann Oldham, Ajo, AZ, Diane Heatley and her husband Mark, Wildwood, MO, and Julie Oldham, Springfield, MO; a sister, Theresa Eschenback, Parkville; and six grandchildren.
