Diamonds

Daggers & Dolls

The keynote of this year's Senior Play was "originality”.  It all began when Mrs. Williams suggested to her dramatics class, which consisted entirely of seniors, that they could write better teen-age dialogue than adult playwrights. Martha LaFrenz, Mike Maloney, Diane Igoe, and Bill Sterling joined forces to write "Diamonds, Daggers, and Dolls, " which after careful consideration was accepted by Mrs. Williams as this year's Senior Play.

The cast of characters ranged from typical teenagers to diamond smuggling hoods. This fast moving three-act mystery-comedy was climaxed by the usual happy ending.
